What is your first jewelry memory?
Every birthday and holiday for as long as I can remember, my dad would pick out a special piece of jewelry for my sisters and I. Over the years, I’ve developed a really special collection that I continue to treasure and will share with my daughter someday.
What is your most precious piece of jewelry?
I have an antique gold ring with a brown stone that my mom gave me when I was younger. She bought it when she was a student in Italy and it was one of the first things she paid for with her own money. I love it because I know it marked a major milestone in her life, so I feel really honored that she passed it down to me. I also mark special milestones in my life and career by investing in jewelry.
What jewelry do you wear for a black tie party?
Silver Swarovski drop earrings. They are the perfect combination of old Hollywood glamour and modern elegance.
Vintage or modern?
Vintage. There’s nothing better than finding a cool vintage gem.
Layering or minimalist?
Layering, especially when it comes to jewelry and accessories.
The jewel you love to offer to your friends?
Swarovski Crystaldust bracelets. They come in a bunch of different colors and are perfect for layering, which is great for gifting.
What is your favorite vintage jewelry shop in NYC? What do you love about it?
There are a few really great vintage shops in Williamsburg that I love and I’m always surprised at what unique treasures I find.
Which icons would you love to embody for your next Swarovski challenge?
Grace Kelly is one my favorite fashion icons of all time, so it would be an absolute dream to channel her iconic style in a Swarovski campaign.
